We take a look at where to find Charo's Hidden Grave and what's hiding there.
However, collecting every item can take a lot of your time, so you should go for the ones that you can use throughout the game. Luckily, you can find some of the best armors in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree relatively early.
8 Pelt of Ralva And Iron Rivet Set
- How to get: Defeat Ralva Bear and the Red Bear.
The first armor set on this list isn't just a single armor set but a unique combination that complements each other in gameplay, and it's almost as if FromSoftware designed the Pelt of Ralva to be used with the Iron Rivet Set. You can obtain the Pelt, the Helm from Ralva Bear and the Iron Rivet Set from the Red Bear, creating a unique gameplay dynamic.
The armor is quite reliable for early to mid-game, as its unique and aggressive appearance makes it a good choice for trying out, increasing incantations of bear communion by 15 percent. Defeat both of these bosses and get the desired armor sets, and you can also get the Red Bear’s Claw from the Red Bear boss fight, so make sure to beat that particular boss; this armor is not very tanky, but it looks cool.
7 Needle Knight Leda’s Set
- How to get: Defeat Leda and her allies.
Needle Knight Leda is an NPC who interacts with the protagonist throughout the story. You can get her armor set by, of course, beating her, but it isn't that simple; Leda will stop you from approaching the final, but you will have to best her in the combat.
This fight will involve two more NPCs, and it is going to be even harder than the Fia’s Champion fight. Beating her will give you this armor set that has a decent amount of protection, and one interesting thing about this set is that it boosts attack after you successfully dodge a strike.
6 Rellana’s Set
- How to get: Defeat Rellana, Twin Moon Knight.
If you are a fan of Carian Knights, cosplayed as Moongrum in the base game, then Rellana’s Armor Set is for you. This armor is ideal for those who want to play as a spellblade or a sorcerer, and it has a decent amount of negation against magical and physical attacks, so you can tank some hits.
Rellana’s Set is arguably one of the best and coolest looking among the new available sets. To get the suit, you have to best Rellana, Twin Moon Knight, in combat and buy her armor from Finger Reader in the Roundtable Hold.
5 Gaius’s Set
- How to get: Defeat Commander Gaius.
The next set on the list is the Gaiu’s Set, and you can get this armor set by defeating Commander Gaius, who can be found at the back of the Shadow Keep. This boss has proven to be one of the most annoying ones to many due to its lingering hitboxes; however, with having Torrent at your disposal, it shouldn't be a hard boss fight.
This armor is best for those who prefer heavyweight builds, as it is a literal tank and looks super cool. It can help you absorb some of the heaviest hits from the boss, so if you are rocking a strength build, this is what you should select.
4 Night Set
- How to get: Collect it from a corpse in the Bonnt Gaol.
If you are looking for an armor set that has a pretty strong defense but isn't heavy, then you should go for the Night Set. While this might not let you light roll, depending on how many points you have in endurance, it will definitely let you do a medium roll; this armor is one of the coolest-looking ones in the DLC, if not the best one.

Have some faith, even in the Land of Shadow.
While it has an impressive appearance, it also has excellent damage resistance. You can get this armor set from a corpse in the Bonny Gaol; once you are in the Gaol, use the lift to go down and use it again to reach the uppermost level, and it will take you to the highest level, where you will find the armor set.
3 Solitude Set
- How to get: Defeat the Blackgaol Knight.
If Gaius’s set didn't sit right with you, then the Solitude Set is what you should give a try, as it is another optimal armor set for strength-build lovers. If you are using a strength Solitude Set, it might be worth your time since it has extremely high damage negation, so you can handle some serious hits even from the sturdy bosses.
The Solitude Set can be obtained pretty early in the DLC. It can be found in the Western Nameless Mausoleum. You will have to beat the Blackgaol Knigt in order to get this armor set; however, it is recommended that this boss be fought after getting some Scadutree fragments.
2 Rakshasa Set
- How to get: Defeat The Rakshasa.
The next set on the list is none other than the Rakshasa Set; this armor set isn't for those who want to tank damage but for the ones who want to test their true combat skill. Rakshasa Set gives you ten percent more damage for each piece you wear, but it also causes you to take more damage, so if you have finished the DLC already and want a little more challenge while dealing with more damage, then this set is for you.
You can get the set in the mid-game by defeating Rakshasa in the Eastern Nameless Mausoleum. The boss will also drop the Great Katana, which you can use along with the armor.
1 Death Knight Set
- How to get: Collect it from the corpse of Death Knight in the Darklight Catacombs.
Arguably, the coolest-looking armor set in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is the Death Knight Set, which quickly became popular due to its appealing looks and, of course, the buffs it gives. This armor set, just like the Rakshasa Set, boosts your damage by two percent; however, it boosts the skills and incantations of the Ancient Dragon Cult, and there is no drawback.
It also provides great damage negation and resistance, making it an optimal choice. You can find the Death Knight Armor Set in the Darklight Catacombs, right on top of the corpse of a Dark Knight.
