Of course everyone loves a classic mimosa, but I could sip this strawberry mimosa all day long! It’s always a crowd-pleaser and of course, just as easy to make.

They are light and refreshing! Plus, they aren’t too strong in the alcohol department so you can easily enjoy a couple without going overboard!

This strawberry mimosa has a touch of lemon for balance. Strawberry and lemon are two flavors that just work so perfectly together.

You get sweetness from the strawberries that is balanced out by the tangy lemon. This co*cktail tastes like summer, and let’s be honest, everything is better with a little champagne!

Ingredients and Substitutions to Make Strawberry Mimosas

  • Strawberry Purée– Make the strawberry puree by simply adding fresh strawberries into a blender, and blending until smooth.
  • Lemonade –You can use your favorite brand of lemonade for this co*cktail, cloudy and clear both work well, and of course, you can always make your own!
  • Champagne –You can also make this co*cktail with prosecco or your favorite sparkling wine.
  • Garnish– This is always option as well. Use fresh fruit, flowers, or even herbs. A beautiful slice of grapefruit of course looks gorgeous here! You could also garnish with basil, rosemary or thyme.

Variations

  • Replace the strawberry puréewith any other fruit purée or juice.
  • Use traditional orange juice instead of lemonade.
  • Try with your favorite type of Champagne or Prosecco.

If you’re serving a large crowd for a gathering, it’s always good to give guests a variety. In fact, it’s a fun place to experiment- and the best Champagne for mimosas isn’t always a Champagne at all – look for a Prosecco instead.
